"Over 200 students comprise the international community at Bates. Citizens of countries outside of the U.S. comprise 130 international students, representing 67 countries. There are an additional 70 students who have resided for a significant period of their lives in other countries as dual-citizens, as recent permanent residents to the U.S., or as U.S. citizens not resident in the United States."

There are usually more than 10 Chinese incoming students each year, and therefore the '67 countries' are represented among fewer than 100 students. This leaves around one to two students per nationality.
